Decription

This gimbal camera combo solution is equipped with an iCatch Vi37M camera motherboard, a OS12D40 3-axis anti-shake gimbal camera module, and a Wifi board, which is connected using a board-to-board socket.

This DIY camera is equipped with the iCatch Vi37M chip, which supports up to 4K@60FPS (interpolated), 4K@30FPS, 2.7K@60FPS, and 1080P@120FPS H.264 encoded video. The 3-axis anti-shake gimbal camera module uses an OV OS12D40 color image sensor, which is a high-performance CMOS 1/2.49" image sensor with 11 million effective pixels. The ICM-40607 gyroscope is used to support three-axis mechanical image stabilization. Equipped with AW CM256SM single-pass dual-band WiFi module, it supports the use of single-band 2.4G or 5G wireless wifi function.

Onboard support Type-C interface, HDMI high-definition interface, TF card slot (up to 512GTF memory card), battery interface, 2 control buttons, digital silicon microphone, buzzer, WiFi antenna, display/touch screen, CVBS (reserved interface), serial port (Uart3), PWM, ADC five-way button, DC power supply interface, etc. The size of the PCB board is 38*38mm, and the height of the whole set of camera modules is 60mm.

Interfaces:

Three-axis gimbal camera module:

The OV OS12D40 color image sensor used in the 3-axis gimbal camera module is a high-performance CMOS 1/2.49" image sensor, which can support shooting 11M pixel HD images and recording 4K@30fps videos. Using the ICM-40607 gyroscope, it supports 3-axis mechanical image stabilization.

USB Type-C port:

This interface supports a USB standard 5V power input to power the camera module and can also charge the battery. The USB interface can be connected to the computer to directly read the files in the TF card, which can be used as a USB flash drive, and can also be used as a PCCAM USB camera. On the USB interface, a camera control serial port UART3 and a camera debugging serial port UART1 are retained (the serial port function can be used with the G1-USB serial port adapter board).

Micro HDMI interface:

It adopts Micro HDMI interface output, which can support up to 4K 30FPS video signal output.

PWM Interface:

Through the above interface, the PWM function interface is introduced, through which the camera mode switching, photography, video recording and other functions can be controlled.

ADC five-way buttons:

It supports an ADC five-way button interface, which can connect five buttons: up, down, left, right, and confirm, and supports external buttons to control the camera to turn on and off.

Control serial port:

It can support one analog video CVBS (TV-OUT) signal output, and RX3 and TX3 are reserved, and the camera can be set and controlled through this serial port.

DC power supply interface:

The camera can be automatically powered on with a 9~24V power supply. It supports the simultaneous use of three power supplies, i.e., DC power supply of the WiFi board, battery power supply of the motherboard, and USB power supply of the motherboard, and can also be used with a single power supply.
